At Aparium, celebration isn’t merely a costume.
The desire to cherish the connections drives everything we do. So for the last night of October, four cities are celebrating in their unique way. Here’s how we’re joining in:
Under the October moon, the spookiest sendoff is coming to Hotel Heron. From 5-10 PM on Halloween night, you can celebrate atop Good Fortune rooftop for the final time until Spring. Stumble into this free event and peruse the menu that includes the Witching Hour cocktail. Those who dress to terrify and inspire will be quite fortunate at our costume contest, and all can savor the skyline for the last night.
Detroit Foundation Hotel embraces the darkness on the scariest night of the year, hosting their Sheer and Shadow Soiree in the Apparatus Room on Halloween night. Guests will don lace and satin and let the night reveal their secrets, as they drift through the room enjoying enchanting live art and delectable hours d'oeuvres. Here, you cast the spells; we just gather the coven.
Fargo’s Jasper Hotel has invited a sorceress of song for their Halloween celebration, bringing North Dakota singer Laila Noelle to enchant Rosewild. Her melodies turn the ordinary night into a story worth singing about, and her smoke-tinted style will leave guests haunted and hopeful, all at once. Catch her magic on the 30th and 31st at 8-10 PM, before it fades.
In Kansas City’s Crossroads Hotel, culture centers every event. And that is no exception for “Día de los Muertos: La Fiesta!”, a symphony of passion and connection returning to the hotel on October 30. In collaboration with The Mattie Rhodes Art Center and Gallery and The Museum of Kansas City, Crossroads will open its doors to all, living and dead, to celebrate this sacred tradition. Humans and spirits alike can enjoy mariachi, folklórico dance, and live music from local Latin bands, as they wander between booths of Hispanic vendors and sip on a refreshing offering from our Aguas Frescas Bar. Under our marigolds, tradition isn’t just honored, it’s lived.
So treasure the terrifying this Halloween, and allow us to lead you through the night.
